I am thankful that I am felling better, again! We just can't seem to get healthy in this house. My youngest woke up today with a 102 temperature (hence the tardiness of Thankful Thursdays). So, that makes me thankful for insurance!

I am thankful that we have the new floors down in our dining room. They look great and my husband didn't have a screaming fit once while he was laying them!

I am thankful for all of my friends praying for my nephew Little Buddy. His official prognosis seems to be better than the original one, but please continue to keep him and my family in your prayers.

I am thankful that I get to kick off my Christmas Season with a party with my friends this weekend!

Saving Sherry Update

Sorry! I caught a KILLER cold this weekend! And, my family has had some sad news. My brother and sister-in-law are expecting their 2nd child about 8 weeks after we are due. They just found out on Thursday that they are expecting a boy as well! However, they also found out that he has a severe form of Spina Bifida. Please keep them in your prayers. We are currently praying that the official diagnosis is much less severe than the original diagnosis. With God, all things are possible! Please keep "Little Buddy" and his family in your prayers!

I am thankful for blogging breaks! My brain feels so much better after my impromptu break. I couldn't blog last week because I had no internet in the Smokey Mountains and this week I just couldn't bring myself to even LOOK at a deal blog because I was just burned out. After almost 2 full weeks of not blogging and not deal hunting (I know, scary, right?) I'm now back and ready to go again! Aren't breaks nice?

I am thankful my boys are growing up. Even though I would love to keep them small forever, I am thankful that they are growing because that means they are healthy and normal. I am, however, just a little sad that we cut all of Jake's curls off last night in his very first haircut. He looks so much older and EXACTLY like his older brother now.

I am thankful my husband is such a hard worker. He decided that he was going to rip up the carpet and lay down our new floors this weekend (side note: say a prayer for his safety and our sanity!). After the new paint job and new floors I'm going to have a brand new house! It's very exciting!

Finally, I am thankful for pajamas. Aren't they comfy?

This week I am thankful for sleep. I'm getting less and less of it as this pregnancy progresses and I am VERY thankful for what I get!

I am thankful for my husband. Monday was our 7 year anniversary! 7 years and 2 and 1/2 boys later and I love him more now than I ever did. He is an amazing man. Even after a long day at work he isn't scared to help out around the house whether that means cleaning, doing the dishes (which he does everyday), folding laundry or taking care of the boys. He tends to draw the line at dirty diapers, but he will even do that too! He even sends me upstairs to our room for "Mommy Time" when he thinks I'm stressed out! He's awesome!

I am thankful for my son's preschool. He learns so much everyday that I would have NEVER thought to tell him about. Yesterday they got to tour a firetruck and a REAL (his word!) fireman read them a book, they had an eye test AND they learned about dinosaur fossils; all in 3 hours! His teachers are amazing!

I am thankful for disposable diapers. On a normal day my nearly 2 year old has 3 or 4 dirty diapers. I can't even imagine the work involved in using cloth diapers for that many dirties everyday! So, THANK YOU so very much to whoever invented them!

I am even thankful for all of the dirty laundry in my house. Even though it seems to add up overnight, it tells me that everyone in my house is healthy and active!

There probably will not be a Thankful Thursdays post next week as I will be out of town in the middle of the mountains with no internet service, so please be sure to participate this week!
